In one week, the time will finally have come: Our international exchange week is set to begin, and we’re looking forward to welcoming around 85 participants and supporting volunteers. This year, our participants are coming together from Austria, Germany, Romania, Turkey, and Russia. From Austria, groups from the SOS Children’s Village in Vorarlberg and the Clara Fey Foundation, among others, will be joining us. We’re especially looking forward to seeing our friends from Russia, who are traveling from the region around Marmaris. What unites us all is the joy of coming together. Different languages, cultures, and life stories make this week something special every year. Strangers become acquaintances, and acquaintances become friends - and that’s exactly the idea behind our event. Final preparations are already in full swing. The organizing team is working with great dedication to offer all participants a varied and unforgettable week. Together, we’ll laugh, gain new experiences, learn from one another, and share many wonderful moments. We’re really looking forward to it - and it all starts in just one week! The new year is in full swing and there's a lot going on behind the scenes at K4F. We have three exciting updates for you today: 1. Date update: Summer 2026 Planning for our next adventure is already underway! Grab your calendars and get out your red pens. Our next trip will take place from July 11 to July 18, 2026. We are already looking forward to an unforgettable week! 2. New addition to the board There is also some personnel news from our team. We are very pleased to introduce Maxim Polanka as our new deputy chairman. Maxim has been an integral part of our team for a long time and will help shape the future of K4F with fresh ideas and a lot of commitment. Welcome to your new role, Maxim! 3. The long wait is over! We will set sail again in 2025. From 5th to 11th of July we are back in Turkey with socially disadvantaged children from all over the world. We appreciate any support so that the (re)start can be successful again. The entire K4F team is already working to give the kids a wonderful week.
